Theme License

This Theme License ("License") governs your use of any Shopify theme file ("Theme") purchased from Sure Themes ("we", "us", "our"). By purchasing, downloading, or installing a Theme, you agree to this License.

1. Grant of license

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use one (1) copy of the purchased Theme on one (1) live Shopify store that you own or operate. Additional stores require additional licenses.

One purchase. One-store license. Lifetime theme updates.

2. What you can do

  • Install the Theme on your Shopify store.
  • Customize the Theme’s code, sections, blocks, colors, typography, and copy to fit your brand.
  • Use the Theme for a commercial store selling your own products.
  • Keep unlimited development / staging copies of the Theme for the same store.

3. What you can’t do

  • Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or share the Theme file, in whole or in part.
  • Use the Theme on more than one live Shopify store.
  • Include the Theme in another product for resale (for example, a “theme pack”).
  • Remove or obscure copyright notices in the Theme code.
  • Claim authorship of the original Theme or its code.

4. Ownership

Sure Themes retains all copyright and intellectual property rights in the Theme. Your purchase grants a license to use the Theme; it does not transfer ownership of the underlying intellectual property. Purchase once and use your licensed Theme for the life of your store.

5. Lifetime theme updates

Your purchase includes lifetime access to updates for the Theme you purchased. When Sure Themes releases improvements, bug fixes, compatibility updates, or new features for that Theme, you will continue to have access to the latest version at no additional charge.

Lifetime updates apply to the Sure Themes Theme product itself. They do not include ongoing modifications, maintenance, or custom development for your individual Shopify store.

6. 30 days of developer support

Every Theme purchase includes 30 days of developer support from the date of purchase, delivered directly by the developer who built the Theme.

Support includes:

  • Theme installation and initial setup
  • Questions about built-in Theme features
  • Troubleshooting issues related to the original Theme
  • Guidance configuring available Theme sections and settings

Support does not include:

  • Building new custom features
  • Extensive redesigns
  • Third-party app customization
  • Custom coding unrelated to the original Theme
  • Managing or maintaining your Shopify store

After 30 days, store-specific work is available as a paid service.

7. Custom development & maintenance

Custom development (also called customization) covers work specific to your store — new custom sections, design changes, new functionality, integrations, or bespoke coding. Custom development is a paid service unless it is explicitly included in a separate package.

Maintenance means ongoing paid work on your individual Shopify store. Maintenance is not included with a Theme purchase and is separate from lifetime Theme updates.

8. Third-party assets

Demo images, fonts, and icons shown in the Theme demo may be licensed only for demo use. You are responsible for licensing your own product photography, fonts, and other assets used on your live store.

9. Termination

This License terminates automatically if you breach any of its terms. Upon termination you must uninstall and delete all copies of the Theme.

10. No warranty

The Theme is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sure Themes will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Theme.
